Schnellster Weg zu mehr Leistung im SRT mit serienmäßigem Turbo.

Das agp wastegate steuert den Druck direkt mittels der auf 12 psi eingestellten federvorspannung.
Das originale wastegate ist auf irgendwas bei 4 psi eingestellt und der Ladedruck wird vom Steuergerät kontrolliert. Deswegen kann man beim originalen wga auch nicht einfach mittels Boostcontrol den Ladedruck erhöhen, da das Steuergerät die Manipulation bemerkt und den Druck wieder korrigiert.
Darüber hinaus ist das originale wastegate relativ ungenau und kann den Ladedruck nicht gut halten.

Das agp wastegate steuert den Ladedruck am Steuergerät vorbei, somit kann das Steuergerät auch nicht zurück regeln. Der Arm des wastegate lässt sich verstellen für mehr Druck. Das AGP wastegate ist somit der einfachste Weg, den Ladedruck zu erhöhen.
Und höherer Druck = höhere Leistung.

Damit wird dann selbstverständlich eine erhebliche Mehrleistung erzielt.
Mit den 2004 und 2005 verbauten stage 1 Düsen ist ein Ladedruck von maximal 19 psi möglich. Das ist deutlich mehr, als das originale wastegate bringt und bedeutet eine Leistungssteigerung von 230 auf bis zu 270 PS. Und das für so wenig Geld.

Das AGP wastegate ist für den Serienturbo vorgesehen.

Das mit den anderen Federn habe ich auch schon mal erklärt.
Die 19 psi Feder ist vollkommener Unsinn und für normale Zwecke total untauglich, da du damit bei normaler Fahrweise völlig irre Ladedruckschwankungen hast. Das ganze bringt nur was, wenn du nur Rennen fährst.
Ne 12er Feder und dann mittels Verstellung des Arms auf 19 psi einstellen ist etwas vollkommen anderes als die Verwendung einer 19er Feder!

Ever notice how your car always seems to drop boost from 5-6k rpms ? Have a boost controller, and notice how it doesn't matter how high you turn the boost up too, it always falls back down to 13-14 psi ?

This piece is what you need. You see, the factory wastegate actuator is a very weak piece and not only begins to open at 4 psi, but it cant hold the wastegate closed very well on higher boost settings. This piece, is designed to not open until 14 psi, so not only will it hold boost better, but it will give you more consistent, non drop off type boost drops at higher rpms like the factory one does as its much stronger.

NOTE: AGP wastegates now come with a base 8psi spring installed for those wanting to continue to adjust boost via PCM with a flash from Diablosport or SCT. For those wanting to run off PCM controlled boost, AGP includes a 12psi and a 19psi spring in case you ever decide to increase the boost and want higher boost levels. For most SRT4 owners, the factory installed spring will work just fine though.

This item is not intended for use with the DiabloSport Predator 93 Octane Tune. An aftermarket wastegate such as this can be used with the DiabloSport Predator, however a custom tune must be written to accommodate any wastegate other than the factory piece.

This wastegate actuator eliminates the factory PCM controlled boost and allows you to control the level of boost you want.
