Today was a good day to visit the Post Office and my Sponsor's have stayed true to their word! I would like to introduce Project SRT-4.1, THE REMIX. After owning a SRT-4 and the sale of it, I could not find a car that can our perform the SRT-4 for it's price tag. Needless to say, this is my second SRT-4 and will be my continuing hobby for the next few months. My vendors/sponsors are behind me and this car to create a New Breed of the SRT-4 (Project SRT-4.1 THE REMIX). This is 1 of 7 boxes that were shipped last week and more goodies to come (Hopefully Soon!) If someone has some input on any of these products please let me know as some of you may have had first hand experience.

Please note, that all modifications currently on the car, were put on/performed by the previous owner. This is how I purchased the car one month ago.

Nice!
granatelli wires have a low resistance, and could damage your computer!
If I where you, I would stay with the stock wires!
DC strutbars look good but weight more than a better performing WERKS 3-POINT strutbar!
Add 2 catchcan's to your list, and solid motormounts! Rest looks good!
lowering first :roll::lol:
-
only springs, no coilovers?
the wga is fun - i have the same...
looks not like the "big engine" modifications, looks all very decent.
what's the plan? -
Granatelli Wires and Coil will be matted with AEM standalone, so frying the computer/Stock ECU does not apply here. I also have Tokico struts in route that will be matted to the Eibach Springs. I had the Eibach pro springs on my last car and they have a great ride I am not much of a fan for coilovers myself. The energy Suspension kit will replace all bushing and new tie rods, upper suspension mounts, and stage two axles. Big brake kit from Willwood (Front Only) with stainless lines.
Modern Performance had to cut my 3" exhaust/downpipe in order for it to be shipped to my APO address due to box size. AGP log exhaust manifold, AGP 50 trim, tial BOV in shipment process (Backordered 1 week). Spearco FMIC with hard pipe kit, custom mount/crash bar. DCR intake manifold paired with boomba 70mm Throttle body, fuel return line kit, 255 intank walbro, 255 inline walbro, RC injectors 1200cc. These are most of the parts that I have recently ordered, trust me over $6000.00 in parts with some Vendors and my sponsors giving free or discounted rates.
-
that sounds better.
new iac? problems with the old one?
or does the bomba tb coming without? -
Hell yeah.. that's more like it!
I thought, wtf. this douch thinks he is the man with a bushing kit and granatelli wires
I like that 2nd list!!!
what clutch are you going to use? -
Currently the IAC on the car is bad, reasoning for the New IAC is I drive the car daily. I am running a stand alone system for proper function with upgrades and the ability to monitor in car with the touch screen linked to mobile CPU. I have some great software (FIC/Street Tune) that was given to me by a former SRT-4 owner that will complete this system. My current ECU is working properly with no faults/ error codes. Clutch is still being decided between two: Clutch Masters Stage 3 Clutch Kit w/Flywheel or Center Force Clutch kit. My Vendor is working some pricing for me but either way I think they are both great clutches for street use without overkill. Also, I am NOT going to be installing any of these parts until all parts have been received be myself. Reason being I don't feel like replacing the whole suspension set-up and then a week later replace the brake system front (wilwood) and then another week later replace the axles, then the clutch. I suppose if my wife could go without a car for a few weeks this would not be the problem, but this is a far fetched idea (Wife+No Car= No dinner) Slowly but surely I will have all parts needed to complete the build. Question??? Where is a good place to buy Bulk Fiberglass material/Resin here in Germany. I have opted to create some one off parts with the molds already made but just need the Fiberglass portion.
Legoman I have to give you props for the Headlights, great job and One-offs. Did you save the molds for future installs? I know here in Germany you have to have headlights that can be adjusted in car (not manual). Well done!
-
Hey, i could make you a set headlights.
Hmm, no moldings - is "free in the air" vacuforming. sounds complicated, looks great.
Yeah i know that stupid law but i was to stingy to pay 300 for that stupid height adjustment...
But you will not need that i think.
Just have a spare set for inspections...Fiberglass you can buy at homedepo. But it is not that cheap here.
Hmmm - some stores where they sell boat repairment things... -
Has anyone here performed the fuel pump re-wire? I ordered this kit with guidance from other SRT-4 owners, that have done this rewire. Just wanted to see if anybody has some feedback.
-
Fuel pump rewire is no big problem.
as long as the wires and the relay are okay.Any news?
Don't forget:
We wanna see your ride next year in Kelbra! -
I just posted some parts for sale as I have received doubles. I am still waiting for most of packages, but I did manage to order a few more things! I also custom made a nice rocker panel switch box, I will post some photo's later (at work right now). Kelbra, you bet, count me in!
