Yes, your car is much cheaper than mine. Mine also placed in 6 of 9 categories in Germany's only Neon only meeting. How many did yours place in? That was before I spent an additional 3,000 on it. I am offering the car for sale with many many many additional parts to include an R/T intake manifold, R/T cylinder head, Comp Cams 400 camshaft, R/T exhaust manifold, SRT turbo and manifold, stock wheels and tires..... just too much to list really. If you were to make your car like mine I would guess it would take 10000 to 13000 euro in addition to your 11000 euro asking price. So.... 19000 euro total isn't a bad deal.

DAS hört ja garnicht auf: also zoll, usw...bis hin zu den 1800 für umbau, datenblatt, tüv, fallen doch wohl bei meinem landmann seinem auto an, oder wolltest du dich als soldat bei der us-army bewerben? da können noch so viele komentare hier fallen, aber DAS IST FAKT....ich holle mein auto morgen aus frankfurt ab + muss BARES mit bringen...was soll das den? DIESES geld geht halt drauf, ende!!!wie die neupreise aussehen ist mir nicht bekannt, doch bestimmt kostet deiner "soooo viel" mehr, weil da die überführungskosten, zoll, und den ganzen shit da mit eingepackt ist.....ich scrieb doch 7000 erpärniss zu dem wagen von marakka; schau noch mal nach....
zu dem "anzupflaumen oder bockige Sinnlosposting" nur soviel: nach meinem angebot heute, ging es weiter mit: "marakka seiner sieht besser aus"; sofort danach folgte: "und deiner hat bestimmt nicht 1/2 soviele extras"; usw....tolle kommentare, die richtig nett zu lesen sind.....da habe ich nur gefragt ob ich mein auto verschrotten soll....
auch solltest du dir den body kit ansehen: ICH habe nichts vergessen (in weiser vorraussicht das es auffallen würde)....der kit allein kostest stolze 199 dollar (bei einem kurs von...) plus porto...besser auch da nochmal nachschauen.....p.s. ich bestelle seit ebays anfang aus usa....über den teich!!!

was mich wundert sind deine aussagen (und zum teil auch von anderen): als ob ein neon nichts wert ist....warum fährst du denn ein neon wenn die sowieso nur im preis fallen, so wie ein notebook......fahre mal einen neuen bmw 750i vom hof + verkaufe ihn am nächsten tag: 30000 euro verlust....siehst du, auch ich kann vergleichen...wer stampft hier mit dem fuss? ich nicht...and 10000 to 13000 euro to have it look like marakkas, that can only be a joke....especially since I (ich) do not like a black color on my car....(matter of taste = geschmackssache) which is WHAT i am talking about: invest in mine and DO AS YOU WANT!!...sagen wir einfach: BOTH CARS ARE A GOOD DEAL!!!!!!!!goodnight....or goodmorning!!!!!!!!

Boy oh boy... I can understand most of your german, but mine is not so good so I write in English.

Since this car does not exist in Germany, the tax would be assesed on its value in the states. As cars in the states are not valued with additional parts, this car is worth USD 9000. That lowers the tax a great deal. I would leave it to the person purchasing the car to claim whatever tax they wish. Of course it would be a little harder for them to hide the 13000 euro price tag if they went through a bank to get the money. I know what you are thinking.... fi the car is only worht 9000 then why sell it for 13000? Because I know the rarity of the car and I have invested a lot of time, money and hard work into having it made as such, paying for it to be shipped over here (yes I had to pay a portion of this) and I realize its not an average car in Germany... making it worth a bit more.

My car? A joke? Lets see you get SRT stuff in Germany. I have a lot of parts on my car that are not available in Germany. A lot of these parts are even hard to find items in the states. They only made 25,000 SRT's. So to find a body kit from one is no small feat. The fact that I have it and I got it in Germany should speak volumes.

The car is black... and you don't like that.... but as you said... personal taste. Its a mute point in your arguement that your car is better priced than mine.

I would sell my car today in stock condition (minus the bumpers since I have sold my stock ones to Jenni) with Mopar Stage 1 lowering springs and a few other little goodies that I can not return to stock, for 8000 euro. But what good does it do me to offer it as such when that would leave me with a stack of parts that I can not use on my next car.

You ask why I want to sell this car..... To buy an SRT4. Thats why. And yes.... I do buy cars from the junkyard and fix them to resell them. How do you think I can afford to throw 9000$ at my car?

hi there marakka.....PLEASE do not misunderstand me....of course your car is top notch, loaded, and for sure better than mine....i just sated that mine was a whole lot cheaper + that this makes it more affordable to someone whose wallet is NOT loaded....then one could juice it up bit-by-bit, as time + money allows....i am most certain that you will get your asking price, as i just got mine.....my car is sold, as of yesterday..))))it was just the remarks that i was reading here after i offered it on this board: remarks such as "marakkas looks better"; "mine probably doesn´t have 1/2 the extras"; and so on....i am not ignorant + am fully aware of that (i can read + am not blind)....had nothing to do with you....and no, i wasn´t asking you why you want to sell your car. i asked the other ones here who were commenting on my car with statements like above + also that "cars depreciate", etc... (knocking my car from front to back), that if the neon is such a lousy car, then why do "they" own one...
the tax thing can be beat; i have done this is 100 times (i am also american, from boston + do get my stuff from the states......i have a mustang convertable): when you do your permit to transfer, sell it as an accident vehicle with engine damage; mp customs doesn´t care + the zollamt never comes out to look at the vehicle (sometimes they ask you to bring it to them, which you obviously cannot do BECAUSE the car cannot be driven....engine probs. remember??haha..and should they want to come and look at it, which they never have for me, there are a 1000 ways to get an engine not to start, from removing a fuse to hooking up the sparkplug wires wrong....and you also have the accident damage) and then a salesprice of 1500 dollars it fine with everyone + saves the buyer thousands making their decision easier...i just went thru the ordeal of getting mine into the german system: it´s a pain, even with all the connections i have....it starts with the "datenblatt" which goes for a 1000 itself...there are a couple of them out there from a few companys, but they want money for them or else you have to give it to the tüv (big money)....the abgasgutachten for the emissions costs 350euro alone....there are no headlights with an E on them for this car: meaningyou have to get a lichttechnisches gutachten as well (more big bucks, but that´s germany for you....they sell the german cars cheaper in the usa than they do here + want to make up for this by jumping on those buying us cars.....)....anyway, let me know if or when YOU need MY help....WHAT I HAVE BEEN "TRYING" to say here is this (for the 1000 time): it is easier to sell a car, the cheaper the price and whoever buys your car WILL have to add those costs to the selling price (this is simple logic)....and if you save them 1000s on tax and GOOD + if you save them big bucks + hassel on conversion, even BETTER......and i already went thru the hassel and most of this data applies to your car: emissions test, headlights, etc...so i assume my GUTACHTEN will apply to yours...have fun + NO hard feelings, jeff

Dachte es geht hier um Neon´s nicht um Mustang´s (Find ich eh häßlich!!)! Anscheinend ist es mit der Meinungsfreiheit in Amerika nicht gerade gut bestellt, allerdings kann ich hier in der BRD sagen was ich will! Und wenn ich sage, dass ich Max´Auto schöner finde ist es meine Meinung!
